• Most components of your BlenderBottle brand bottle are top-rack dishwasher safe. Place components in the dishwasher or wash by hand in warm soapy water.

How to Get the Smell Out of Your Water Jug or Water Bottle

Most BPA-free plastics are prone to retaining odors if not cleaned promptly after use. Try these tips for removing stubborn odors from your water jug or water bottle:

• Fill your water bottle with a mixture of vinegar and baking soda and allow it to sit overnight, with the cap or lid open.

• Sprinkle a piece of newspaper with water, or place several drops of vanilla extract on a few paper towels. Crumple newspaper or paper towels and place inside your Koda water jug. Screw on the lid and let the bottle sit for 24 hours, with the cap closed.

• Place damp coffee grounds inside your water bottle or water jug. Screw on the lid and allow the bottle to sit overnight, with the cap closed.

• Simply leaving your water jug or water bottle out with the lid off after cleaning may work wonders.
